Nouvelle version pour le validateur HTML5 de validator.nu

Le WhatWG annonce que le site Validator.nu hébergeant un validateur HTML5 a été mis à jour. Il n'y avait pas eu d'améliorations depuis plus d'un an, or la spécification HTML5 a connu de nombreuses modifications et ajouts.

Ce validateur est développé à l'aide de Java, son code source est en téléchargement libre, c'est pourquoi il est demandé aux utilisateurs de procéder à la mise à jour pour profiter des dernières améliorations HTML5.

Voici la liste des changements en VO :

• Implemented spec changes. (Too numerous to enumerate, but, as highlights, foreign content works better now and there are limits on the growth of the number of formatting element clones.)
• Made Dom2Sax robust against null localNames.
• Error reporting improvements for unclosed elements.
• The HTML serializer no longer serializes comments when inside an [R]CDATA element.
• Line break swallowing now works correctly after a pre, textarea or listing start tag.
• Added an interface that enables the application to follow the state transitions in the tokenizer.
• Fixed the Uhhhhh notation output when applying infoset coercion.
